Irvine Spectrum Center

Irvine California

Irvine Spectrum Center is an 80 acre campus for shopping, dining, and entertainment whose architecture and design is modeled after the 13th century citadel of Alhambra which overlooks the city of Granada, Spain. Located on Fortune Drive, the Irvine Spectrum Center can be accessed by I-405 via the Irvine Center Drive exit, or I-5 via Alton Parkway. Irvine Spectrum Center’s retailers are open Sunday through Thursday from 10 am to 9 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 10 pm. The dining and entertainment establishments keep separate hours and are open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 9 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am to 11 pm.

Summing up the shopping and entertainment possibilities at Irvine Spectrum Center borders on the futile, for the options are expansive, to say the least. In addition to such sought after places like Old Navy, Barnes & Nobel, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and Ann Taylor Loft, Irvine Spectrum Center is, as of 2002, home to the first ever Robinsons-May lifestyle store in the Unites States.

Irvine Spectrum Center

Only marginally less expansive than Irvine Spectrum Center’s shopping selection, is an incomparable variety of snack stands and full service dining establishments. Whether your mood is sushi, pretzels, Mexican, burgers at Johnny Rockets, or frozen yoghurt at the Golden Spoon, there is bound to be a snack or dish at these or any one of the other thirty odd cafes, bistros, or bars that appeals to you. After dinner one can duck into the Improv Comedy Club, the Edwards Irvine Spectrum movie theater, which among its 21 screens offers the only IMAX in the region. Or, if this does not appeal to you, a view of the valley from the top of Irvine Spectrum Center’s 108ft. giant wheel may be something you will enjoy.
