Puente Hills Mall is located in the San Gabriel Valley about 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, and sits near the intersection of Asuza Avenue and the Pomona Freeway (60). The Puente Hills Mall shopping and entertainment center can be accessed via the Azusa Avenue exit. It is also possible to use freeways 605 or 57 and enter the complex on Colima. Puente Hills Mall is open Monday through Friday 10am to 9pm, Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sundays from 11am to 6pm. Note that the adjunct restaurants and movie theater maintain different hours of operation.
A fully stocked, two-stories of Border’s Books & Music is one of the more conspicuous tenants of Puente Hills Mall. However there are a number of quality anchors available for the fashionably frugal, Old Navy, Ross Dress for Less, and Burlington Coat factory are but three, with Sears and Robinson May rounding out the line-up. In addition there are over two dozen fashion retailers for men, women, children and specialty needs. Puente Hills Mall is in fact one of the few malls in the area to sport a Gap Kids, a retailer notoriously absent from even Westminster Mall and Los Cerritos Center.
While Puente Hills Mall maintains a respectable number and variety of retailers, it is the number and variety of restaurants in and just outside the mall that constitute its most striking feature. Whether it is doughnuts, crab, cookies, fast or steak, all are there to tempt tooth and tongue.
