UTC Mall in San Diego is conveniently located on the corner of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue between the 5 and 805 Freeways. UTC mall is also accessible by train as the Sorrento Valley Coaster Station is just 15 minutes from UTC. Shopping hours are 10.00 am to 9 pm, Monday through Friday, Saturday from 10.00 am to 7 pm, and Sunday from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm. There are extended holiday shopping hours.
UTC is famous for its speciality stores and kiosks especially for music, electronics, cameras, sports, books and gifts. Imagix Photography is a haunt for keen photographers, as is Sam Goody’s Music and Movies for movie-lovers. UTC Mall has over 174 stores so there is something for everyone. These speciality stores and kiosks give a really special atmosphere to the center, especially during the holiday season. Christmas shopping is always fun in UTC Malland this is probably also helped by the UTC Mall ice-rink. This is a great bonus at Christmas!
UTC lMall looks good, like Fashion Valley mall in Mission Valley and Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego. It’s also a good place to eat and there are over 19 eateries to choose from. The UTC Mall food court is highly recommended and has a large variety of counter service and full-service restaurants. It also has a good international range including French, Italian, Indian and Japanese food.
