West Covina Mall, situated among the walnut groves and orange trees of the San Gabriel Valley, is one of the major retailing developments in West Covina. Just under the 10 Freeway at Vincent and Sunset Avenues in West Covina is a dynamic shopping plaza with more retailers than any other mall in the area. The West Covina Mall is open from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm, Monday through Friday. Shopping hours on Saturday are from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm and from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm on Sunday. There are extended opening hours for holidays. Also useful to note is that the mall can also be reached by Foothill Transit Bus. This service has regular 15-minute stops at locations surrounding the center.
West Covina mall was remodelled in 1991 with the extension of a 100,000 square foot wing. The mall has approximately 214 stores including Bullock's, the Broadway, JCPenney and Robinson’s-May. West Covina Mall is famous for its Asian-themed restaurants and shops. Among its 20 restaurants you can find Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, Thai, Filipino and Vietnamese cuisine readily available. You can find all these in the Hong Kong Supermarket, which is one of the largest in California.
